Abstract

The method includes steps of A) smashing Chinese toon seeds, and sieving with a medicinal sieve to obtain Chinese toon seed powder, B) adding the obtained Chinese toon seed powder into petroleum ether, performing reflux extraction with water bath under atmospheric pressure to obtain medicine dregs, allowing solvents in the medicine dregs to evaporate, and drying at low temperature to control the water content of the medicine dregs to be 3%, and C) processing the Chinese toon seed medicine dregs obtained in the step B) in an ultrasonic biomixer, adding ethanol, and extracting the Chinese toon seed polyphenols. The Chinese toon seed polyphenols can be efficiently extracted by the method. The Chinese toon seed polyphenols have a plurality of biological functions, such as oxidation resistance, anti-inflammatory functions, antineoplastic functions, nerve protection, anti-hypertension functions and antidiabetic functions, and have certain effects on treatment of the Parkinson disease.
