Problems solved by technology

The processing of these brittle materials or products is very challenging especially for large scale production especially reel to reel
[0004] 4. Not aware of any seals or stamps with RFID features (such as RFID antennas) or RFID tags in the past, which would be made of usual materials that are usually readily available and processed
The seal attaches the bottle and its cap such that the cap cannot be removed without breaking the sealing label

Embodiment Construction

[0036] 36. figure 1 The RFID tag of the present invention is shown attached to a product 5 to be sealed or marked. 37. A preferred way of producing or manufacturing the seal or sealing label of the present invention is to produce a conductive marking, pattern or surface 3 constituting a conductive portion or layer, such as an RFID antenna or label formed of conductive material forming a circuit pattern , such as metal foil3. The metal foil 3 is closely attached to the substrate material 1, which may be referred to as a laminate, carrier material or substrate material, depending on the context. The attachment 2 is produced by adding an adhesive or some other bonding material 2 between the substrate 1 and the metal foil 3 . Adhesive 2 covers only a part of the foil area.

[0037] 38. Another preferred embodiment of the invention consists in using a plastic substrate material and warming or heating the substrate material so that it adheres to a metal foil, antenna or other con...

Abstract

A sealing tag with conductive features, containing at least one conductive marking, pattern or surface, wherein each conductive marking, pattern, or surface (3) and a substrate material (1) are interconnected by an adhesive pattern (2) or other bond, is disclosed. The sealing tag is characterized in that the size and shape of said adhesive pattern (2) or other bond matches the main outlines of the conducting circuit pattern (3) such that inside the area limited by the main outlines there is at least one area (2a) where the adhesion is strong and at least one area (2b) where the adhesion is weak. Additionally, a method for manufacturing such sealing tag is disclosed.

Description

technical field [0001] 1. The present invention relates to the sealing of products. The invention also relates to laminates with conductive components such as RFID antennas or labels, especially anti-counterfeit RFID antennas. Background technique [0002] 2. There are many ways known in the past for making seals or stamps for products. By sealing the package or case of the product, you can ensure that the contents will remain intact. Ancient seals were made of wax, clay or paper and were used for the authentication of documents or products. [0003] 3. Recently, some implementations with RFID features have also been developed. However, known RFID implementations require special materials, which are more expensive and typically very difficult to come by. Substrate materials are typically designed to be weak and brittle. When a fragile label or antenna is printed on a fragile substrate material, laminate, paper or plastic, removal of the label will cause it to break. Pr...
