Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and devices for road risk index generation. A system includes a processor configured to collect historical risk impact data about a current road. The processor is also configured to collect current risk impact data on the current road. Additionally, the processor is configured to generate a baseline risk index for a road based on the historical risk impact data. The processor is further configured to modify a baseline risk index based on the current risk impact data, and to provide a risk index value for the current road based on the modified baseline risk index.
