Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide an interference control method and apparatus, and a network element device. When a first network element and a second network element are network elements in communication systems of different standards, the first network element determines an interfered-with sub-band from bandwidths occupied by the first network element, and sends to the second network element an interference control request message used for requesting the second network element to implement interference control on the interfered-with sub-band. When the first network element is an SRC and the second network element is a network element in any communication system, the first network element sends to the second network element an interference control request message used for requesting interference control on a specified sub-band occupied by the second network element. After receiving the interference control request message, the second network element performs at least one of the following operations: adjusting, in a preset range, transmit power that is already allocated by the second network element and of the specified sub-band occupied by the second network element; and allocating, in a preset range, transmit power of the specified sub-band occupied by the second network element. Therefore, the problem of large interference between neighboring cells of different standards is solved. The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to an interference control method, device and network element equipment. Background technique [0002] With the development of mobile communication technology, the continuous growth of multimedia mobile users, the existence of a large number of different mobile services and the continuous growth of mobile broadband data services all pose challenges to the spectrum resources of existing mobile networks. Therefore, it is necessary to plan a new strategy to more effectively utilize existing spectrum resources, and spectrum reallocation in the prior art is an effective solution. [0003] Take the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS, Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) standard and the Long Term Evolution (LTE, Long Term Evolution) standard in the communication system as an example: for a mobile network using the UMTS standard, the reallocation of the ...
