The central processor is used for receiving the information of the distance and also used for sending a focusing instruction to the focusing device and sending a zooming instruction to the zooming device according to the information of the distance so that automatic adjustment of focusing and zooming can be achieved. The invention further discloses a focusing method of the automatic focusing lamp. The focusing method includes the steps that a signal is sent; a return signal, reflected by the stage, of the optical signal is received; the distance between the distance measuring device and the stage is calculated; and the focusing device and the zooming device are adjusted to preset positions. The automatic focusing lamp has the functions of automatic focusing and zooming, and thus manpower is greatly saved, and the time for adjusting the lamp is greatly shortened.
