The present invention provides a method for printing information on a surface of a battery cell using a heat transfer machine, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a heat transfer film from a heat transfer roller on which the heat transfer film is wound, wherein an adhesive layer for displaying information on a release paper is laminated on the heat transfer film; locating the heat transfer film on one surface of a battery cell; applying heat and pressure to the heat transfer film to attach the adhesive layer of the heat transfer film to one surface of the battery cell; and winding the release paper of the heat transfer film by a release paper roller.
