Disclosed is a heat-sensitive recording body which comprises, on a supporting body, at least a heat-sensitive
recording layer that contains a
leuco dye, a developer, and an
adhesive. The heat-sensitive recording body is characterized in that the heat-sensitive
recording layer contains, as a main first developer, an N, N'-diarylurea-based compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein R2 represents an
alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7 to 12 carbon atoms, or an
aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, the aralkyl group and the
aryl group may be substituted by an
alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an
alkoxy group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an
aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, or a
halogen atom, and the plurality of R2 moieties may be the same or different, A1 represents a
hydrogen atom or an
alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and the plurality of A1 moieties may be the same or different), and contains, as a second developer, at least one compound that is selected from the group consisting of a
urea urethane compound represented by general formula (2) and 5-(N-3-methylphenyl-sulfonamide)-N',N"-bis-(3-methylphenyl)-
isophthalic acid diamide.
