Abstract

The invention discloses a motor and a stator slot insulation support thereof. The stator slot insulation support comprises a first plate and a second plate which are in fixed connection; one end of the first plate and the middle of the second plate are in fixed connection; the first plate can be arranged between two coil sides in a stator slot; and the second plate can be arranged between a coil in a stator slot and a magnetic pole. The insulation support can be inserted between two coils in a stator slot, i.e., in inserting, the first plate is inserted between the two coil sides in the stator slot, meanwhile the second plate is inserted between the coil in the stator slot and the magnetic pole, accordingly, the first plate isolates the two coils in the stator slot, and meanwhile the second plate isolates the coil and the magnetic pole. Sparking and circuit connection of the two coils can be effectively avoided so as to avoid potential safety hazards. In addition, a safe distance between the two coils is enough if the first plate can be arranged between the two coils, therefore the safe distance between the two coils is substantially reduced and the slot fill factor of the stator slot is increased.
