Abstract

The present invention discloses a night sleep mode starting method. The method comprises: when detecting that a starting trigger condition of a night sleep mode is met, acquiring an application process clearing manner, wherein the night sleep mode is an operating mode where an application in an electronic device is in a power-saving state; and according to the application process clearing manner, clearing a currently running service process of a target application so as to execute the night sleep mode. The embodiments of the present invention further disclose a night sleep mode starting apparatus and an electronic device. By adopting the method and apparatus, and the electronic device, which are disclosed by the embodiments of the present invention, the running service process can be timely cleared when starting the night sleep mode, so as to save power and prolong standby time.
