When the cable end testing device is in use, a testing optical fiber is fixed on positions next to two ends of a to-be-tested cable through a front calibration head and a back calibration head. When correspondence between two ends of the to-be-tested cable is detected, a beam of parallel visible light is transmitted into the testing optical fiber in the front axis direction of the testing optical fiber. The visible light is transmitted along the testing optical fiber and is transmitted out of the back end of the testing optical fiber for facilitating observation. Therefore the correspondence between two ends of the cable can be determined through observing the calibration head where the visible light is transmitted out at the back end of the cable.
