Abstract

The invention relates to a method for generating light distribution to send a driving instruction to a first vehicle, and the first vehicle is on a first lane of a running lane. At least one second vehicle is detected around the first vehicle on the second lane, wherein the second vehicle moves in the same driving direction of the first vehicle. In addition, the value of at least one parameter can change with the second vehicle and can be detected, and a driving instruction signal for changing the first vehicle to the second lane is generated. The light distribution can be genrated by the first vehicle on the lane according to the driving instruction signal, the light distribution is adopted to notify a driver of the first vehicle if the first vehicle can safely change from the first lane to the second lane. The invention also relates to a driver assistance system for the above vehicle.
