Abstract

The invention discloses a water-cooled microwave ablation needle using 433MHz frequency. The ablation needle comprises an ablation puncture head, an insulating medium sleeve, a needle rod, a semi-rigid coaxial cable, a short water retaining jacket, a radio frequency connector, a protective handle, a water inlet capillary, a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe, an L-shaped variable-diameter hose coupler and a needle body outer sleeve, wherein the insulating medium sleeve is fixedly arranged between the ablation puncture head and the needle rod; the short water retaining jacket is fixedly arranged in the needle rod and the front end of the short water retaining jacket is located on the junction of the insulating medium sleeve and the needle rod while the tail end is fixed with the front end of the water outlet pipe; the water outlet pipe is of an L-shaped structure which is in seamless adapter coupling with the L-shaped variable-diameter hose coupler; and the naked part of the front end of the coaxial cable which is inserted in the needle rod is of a three-gap structure. In comparison with a conventional microwave ablation needle of 2450MHz or 915MHz frequency, the microwave ablation needle disclosed by the invention not only can effectively increase the volume (in particular in longitudinal diameter) of a gourd-like ablation region but also can shorten a time of forming the maximum transverse diameter; therefore, an important reference is provided for researching a conformal microwave ablation method of a novel frequency band.
