Abstract

The invention discloses a payment routing system and method. The payment routing system comprises a configuration module used for configuring payment brands, a guide rule, channel information and a routing rule, a guide rule processor used for generating a brand list that comprises at least one first payment brand, a channel rule processor used for determining at least one optimal channel and marking the payment brands corresponding to the optimal channels as second payment brands, and a routing calculation engine used for searching for the same payment brands in the first and second payment brands, marking the same payment brands as third payment brands and enabling optimal channels corresponding to the third payment brands in the channel rule processor to correspond to the third payment brands in the brand list. According to the payment routing system and method, the disadvantages that a set of payment modes only can be used by a merchant and a bank only supports a channel in a payment mode in the prior art are overcome, manual intervention can be reduced as far as possible, and continuous use of a payment system is kept.
