Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for transferring a proppant to a fracturing site, the method comprising: conveying a proppant container filled with proppant to a fracturing site, wherein the proppant is stored in the internal space of the proppant container formed substantially in the nature of the box; positioning the proppant container on a frame, the frame having one or more openings proximate to the slope of the proppant container, the slop being inclined downward to direct the proppant out of the proppant container, and the one or more openings permitting access to an external surface of the slope; positioning the proppant container on a structure-reinforced support structure containing and fastening the proppant container after the proppant container is positioned on the frame; and and positioning a gate positioned proximate an outlet of the proppant container to an open position so that the proppant can flow out of the internal space of the proppant container and flow through the support structure.
