Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a control method and device for a terminal application. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring user non-touch gesture information through a first sensor array and a second sensor array which are arranged in parallel; recognizing the type of the acquired user non-touch gesture information through preset non-touch gesture information of a user; determining a control command corresponding to the type of the user non-touch gesture information; and controlling the terminal application according to the control command. Through adoption of the control method and device for the terminal application, the user non-touch gesture information is acquired by capacitive sensor recognition panels which are arranged in parallel, so that the terminal application can be controlled rapidly and accurately; a single row and double row multiplexing effect is achieved; the terminal user does not need to perform any operation on a terminal screen; and good user experience is achieved.
