Abstract

The invention relates to a method for automatic program programming of multiple DSP chips, wherein a serial bus is used to implement data communications between an upper computer and a processor with the multiple DSP chips. The method comprises the steps that (S1) the upper computer sends an instruction for starting programming a DSP chip program to the processor, and a to-be-programmed data document is transmitted to the processor via the serial bus; (S2) the upper computer conducts automatic program programming of a main DSP chip by an FPGA unit in the processor, and monitors an intermediate state of the programming; (S3) the upper computer conducts automatic program programming of subordinate DSP chips by the FPGA unit in the processor and the main DSP chip, and monitors an intermediate state of the programming; and (S4) the step (S3) is executed repeatedly till the automatic program programming of all the subordinate DSP chips is completed.
