[0023] Currently, producing touch sensors can be complex and expensive, especially if the touch sensors are intended to be thin, flexible, or suitable for a variety of different kinds of uses. This document describes the use of interactive fabrics and objects containing interactive fabrics configured to sense multi-touch input. To enable the interactive fabric to sense multi-touch input, a grid of conductive threads is woven into the interactive fabric to form a capacitive touch sensor capable of detecting touch input. The interactive fabric is able to process touch input to generate touch data that can be used to control various remote devices.
