Abstract

The invention discloses a health-care medicated diet for auxiliary prevention and treatment of large-intestine dampness-heat ulcerative colitis. The medicated diet is formed by two fixed combinations of a formula medicated diet and an intense humid type or intense heat type tea formula, wherein the fixed combinations use a formula A which consists of 20 parts of purslane herbs, 20 parts of lactuca indica, 20 parts of herba scutellariae barbatae, and 15 parts of sanguisorba, and a formula B which consists of 20 parts of raw pearl barley, 20 parts of radix codonopsis, 20 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizomes, and 20 parts of Chinese yams. The intense heat type tea formula consists of 8 parts of honeysuckle flowers and 8 parts of chrysanthemums, and the intense humid type formula consists of 10 parts of flos gossampini and 8 parts of lotus leaves. Experiments prove that leading indicators of the cure rate, the total effective rate and the life quality of a group of people after eating the health-care medicated diet are apparently higher than those of a conventional group. Side effects and discomfortableness of people due to conventional medication, retention enema, and long-term oral administration of traditional Chinese medicines can be reduced, the treatment compliance is improved, and the health-care medicated diet is suitable for long-term maintenance treatment for the large-intestine dampness-heat ulcerative colitis.
