Abstract

The invention provides a refrigerator control method and a refrigerator. The method comprises the following steps: storage space of the refrigerator is divided into multiple areas beforehand; before foods with electronic tags are put in the refrigerator, information of the electronic tags is obtained by using radio-frequency identification; suggested placing areas of foods are determined according to the information and preset food placing rules; users are reminded to place the foods in the suggested placing areas; actual food placing areas are determined; and if the actual placing areas are different from the suggested placing areas, the users are reminded to renewedly place the foods in the suggested placing areas. When the users place the foods in the refrigerator, the refrigerator control method can provide the suggested placing areas of the foods according to the food information (such as food types), reminds the users to place the foods in the suggested placing areas, intelligently guides the users to reasonably place the foods, prevents disordered placement of a lot of foods by the users after purchase, and meanwhile, improves the use experiences of the users.
