Abstract

The invention provides a LabSocket-based method for remote adjusting of illumination intensity. The method comprises the following steps: a light source controller communicates with a computer through an RS232 serial port and uses a COM1 communication port to transmit the data; in LabVIEW, a subroutine including communication port selection and brightness level selection is generated; by means of calling the subroutine, direct adjusting of light intensity by the LabVIEW is realized; an NI remote control toolkit LabSocket is installed on the computer as a server; a virtual machine is installed on the server to obtain a computer IP address; in the virtual machine environment, a LabSocket System is used to open a program chart of the LabVIEW to control light intensity; a remote control starting end is established; an IP address is input into an IP address box of the remote control starting end; and the remote control of the lighting intensity is realized through adjusting a rotary button at a client terminal to compensate for the ambient light according to the intensity of the ambient light to realize the remote control of the lighting intensity.
