Embodiment Construction

[0026] The term "radiofrequency ablation" used here refers to the application of radiofrequency current with a frequency high to a certain value (>100kHz) to biological tissue, causing the movement of charged ions in the tissue to generate a thermal effect, and heating the tissue to a target temperature (eg 60-100°C), resulting in thermal damage to tissue or cell necrosis.

[0027] as attached figure 1 As shown, a gastroesophageal radiofrequency ablation electrode includes an electrode bundle 1 , an electrode cap 2 , an electrode seat 3 , an electrode wire 4 , a cable 5 and a plug 6 .

[0028] In one embodiment, the electrode bundle 1 is constructed and arranged to deliver radio frequency energy to the electrode structure of the treated tissue. The electrode bundle 1 is a cylindrical cage structure with a longitudinal axis arranged by a plurality of conductive metal wires. The metal wires are substantially evenly arranged on the side of the cylinder, and are substantially pa...

Abstract

The invention provides a stomach and esophagus radio frequency ablation electrode. The electrode comprises an electrode beam (1), an electrode cap (2), an electrode base (3), an electrode wire (4), a cable (5) and a plug (6), wherein the electrode beam (1) is of a cylindrical cage-like structure with a longitudinal axis formed by arranging a plurality of conductive metal wires. The metal wires are basically uniformly arranged in the side face of the cylindrical shape and basically parallel to the axis of the cylindrical shape; the electrode cap (2) is arranged on the far end side of the cylindrical shape, and accordingly an electric connection is built between the metal wires and the electrode wire (4). According to the stomach and esophagus radio frequency ablation electrode, the radio frequency ablation therapy for an esophagus annular region can be conducted conveniently and precisely, meanwhile due to the fact that the electrode beam is of a cage-like structure, the liquid and the water mist can be dispersed easily, and accordingly the view of the gastroscope cannot be influenced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a gastroesophageal radiofrequency ablation electrode, in particular to a radiofrequency ablation electrode which can cooperate with an endoscope to treat stomach diseases. Background technique [0002] The main function of the human esophagus is to transport food from the intake to the stomach and to prevent reflux of gastrointestinal contents. The esophageal sphincter consists of two which normally remain closed, preventing the reflux to some extent. Specifically, the lower esophageal sphincter normally remains closed until parasympathetic nerve activity relaxes it, allowing food to pass from the esophagus into the stomach. There are many types of substances that can cause the sphincter to relax, such as fatty meats, tobacco, etc. Certain drugs can also cause relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter and local trauma or other problems, such as neuromuscular disorders. [0003] Patients with these problems may present wit...
