The traditional Chinese medicine preparation is prepared from the following raw materials: astragalus membranaceus, radix pseudostellariae, semen cuscutae, cornus officinalis sieb et zucc, bighead atractylodes rhizome, the root of kudzu vine, gorgon fruit powder, fructus rosae laevigatae powder, periostracum cicada powder, eupatorium powder, agastache rugosus powder, rheum officinale powder, scutellaria baicalensis powder, radix rehmanniae recen, pseudo-ginseng powder and salviae miltiorrhizae. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, treatment determination based on syndrome differentiation is performed by combining features of incidence of diabetic nephropathy and the condition of kidney injury, so that a traditional Chinese medicine compound preparation is formulated; through long-term clinical observation, the clinical symptoms of a patient are improved, proteinuria, urea nitrogen and serum creatinine are decreased to different extents, development of nephropathy is delayed, the renal function is improved, and the preparation plays a role of treating both symptoms and root causes.
