Abstract

The invention discloses a rotary bending control mechanism for an endoscope. The rotary bending control mechanism comprises a cross-shaped traction plate, and a traction ball is formed at the center of the cross-shaped traction plate and fixedly connected with a fixed end of a rocker. Four tail ends of the cross-shaped traction plate are connected with traction ends of traction steel wire ropes respectively, and a control end of each traction steel wire rope is connected with a front-end bending part of the endoscope. The traction ball is movably arranged in a traction ball seat and in spherical fit with the same. By control of an operating end of the rocker, the traction ball is enabled to rotate and swing relative to the traction ball seat, and the cross-shaped traction plate pulls the four traction steel wire ropes connected with the cross-shaped traction plate to bend the front-end bending part of the endoscope. By single-hand operation, the rotating direction and bending angle of the front-end bending part of the endoscope can be controlled arbitrarily in a 360-degree range. Compared with both-hands operation, the rotary bending control mechanism has advantages of convenience in control and quickness in positioning; compared with single-hand electric operation, the rotary bending control mechanism has advantages of reliability in operation and easiness in target searching.
