Abstract

The invention provides a projector keystone correction method and system. The method comprises the following steps: calibrating a structure light module and a camera module to obtain first proportions of each side length of a structure light module fixed pattern to each side length of an image formed by the fixed pattern on the camera module; and calibrating a projector, the structure light module and the camera module to obtain second proportions of each side length of an image formed through projection by the projector to each side length of an image formed through projection by the structure light module. During the startup of the projector provided with the structure light module and the camera module after calibration, the structure light module projects the fixed pattern, anti-distortion compensation is performed by use of the first proportions, and correction compensation parameters are obtained by use of the second proportions. According to the method and system, before the startup image of the projector is completely projected, the structure light module and the camera module can be started firstly to perform compensation parameter calculation and feedback is given to the projector rapidly so that when the projector projects the image, the image is already a calibrated image free from keystone distortion.
