Since the light change characters of the banknote have texture stripes and the number of the texture stripes of the forged note are relatively smaller than that of the genuine note, the method can carry out identification on the banknote to be identified by summarizing the number of the target pixel points, that is, texture stripe points; and in the whole process, only the gray value image of the banknote to be identified needs to be utilized, thereby greatly reducing cost.
