Abstract

The invention relates to an application of total flavonoid of tagetes patula in preparing immune enhancing drugs. A method comprises the following steps: crushing whole herb of the tagetes patula, conducting reflux extraction by virtue of ethanol, and implementing degreasing by virtue of petroleum ether; and then, implementing macroporous adsorption resin purification, so that the total flavonoidof tagetes patula is obtained, wherein based upon a colorimetric method, the weight content of the total flavonoid is greater than 30%. Pharmacological tests prove that the total flavonoid extract oftagetes patula is relatively strong in immune enhancing activity, and the total flavonoid extract of tagetes patula can be independently applied to preparations of the immune enhancing drugs or can becombined with other drugs and applied to the preparations of the immune enhancing drugs as a crude drug. In the total flavonoid extract of tagetes patula prepared by the method provided by the invention is high in total flavonoid purity, and the preparation method is simple and practical and is applicable to industrial production; and the total flavonoid extract of tagetes patula provided by theinvention can be used for preparing the drugs having an immune enhancing effect.
