The invention relates to an oriental arborvitae stem borer attractant, which is formed from the preparation of oriental arborvitae extractive and solvent. The main component weight ratio of the oriental arborvitae stem borer attractant is 40 to 55% thujopsene, 10 to 20% cedrol, 6 to 10 % two-table-Alpha-cedrene, 4 to 6% farnesene, 2 to 4% 3-carene and 15 to 30% ethanol. The attractant has the manufacturing method that the cypress fragment added with the proper solvent either ethanol or absolute ethyl ether is extracted in the 70-110 degree temperature. After 1.5 to 2.5 hours cooking and 0.5 to 1 hour condensing, the condensed cream and the crystal are formed, and a solvent and blended is added until in full dissolution. Thus the saturated liquid is made. The supernatant is taken i.e. the attractant liquid. The application method of the invention is characterized in that a special trap is used for pest trapping. The test result shows that the attractant of the invention has an excellent luring effect for pests such as juniper bark borers, cypress bark beetles and so on. The effective time in which each bottle of medical solution maintains is more than 15 days. Not only with high luring activity, but also the invention is pollution free with low cost and simple manufacturing process, which is cost saving, safe, direct, environment friendly and effective.

Thrip attractant and insecticide combined trapping and killing method

The invention provides a thrip attractant and insecticide combined trapping and killing method. An attractant is prepared by taking liquid paraffin as a solvent and mixing 100 [mu] g/ml of methyl nicotinate, trans-beta farnesene, caprylaldehyde, 3-carene, isoeugenol and beta-phenethyl alcohol with the same mass. The attractant disclosed by the invention contains specific host plant source volatilesubstances, is diverse in variety, wide in action target sites and strong in complementarity; a compound with a relatively strong trapping effect on thrips is prepared according to a certain proportion; thrips are trapped on an insect sticking color plate, and meanwhile, thrip injurious insecticide high-efficiency and low-residue pesticide is sprayed on the insect sticking color plate; the thripsare killed by utilizing the toxicity of the insecticide, so that the thrips are thoroughly killed, and secondary escape of thethrips is prevented from causing harm. The attractant disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of low cost, environmental protection, high efficiency, low possibility of generating drug resistance and the like; and the trapping substance is derived from plants, is safe and reliable, can be widely applied to vegetables, fruit trees and other crops, and has wide application prospects.

Method of preparing 3-isopropyl-5-cresol and carvacrol with 3-carene

The invention discloses a method of preparing 3-isopropyl-5-cresol and carvacrol with 3-carene. The method comprises the following steps that 3-carene is reacted with oxygen at a room temperature to produce a product I under the catalysis of CrO3-Al2O3, wherein the product I is prepared from the main components including 5-carone, 2-carone and 4-carone with the selectivity ratio being about 10.8 to 3.5 to 1.0; the product I is distilled to recover 3-carene, wherein the recovery rate is larger than 80 percent, and the recovery purity is larger than 94 percent; the residual components are converted to a product II at 230 DEG C under catalysis of a 13X type molecular sieve, and reduced pressure distillation is performed on the product II to obtain a mixed phenol product with the purity largerthan 96 percent, wherein the product II is prepared from the main components including 3-isopropyl-5-cresol and carvacrol, the raw material conversion rate is 100 percent, the total selectivity of phenolic products can reach 98 percent, and the selectivity ratio of the two phenolic products is about 2.2 to 1.0; and column chromatography isolation is performed on the product II to obtain 3-isopropyl-5-cresol and carvacrol with the purities larger than 97 percent respectively.
