The vehicle-mounted power systemcomprises a diesel generating set, a battery pack, a direct current bus and a converter device. The method is a stability design method for the vehicle-mounted power system in the coexistence of constant power load and resistive load, and the influences of the two load characteristics on the system stability are fully brought into consideration. The method comprises three flows: I, building an average circuit model of the diesel-storage vehicle-mounted power system to estimate a system stable constraint condition; II, building a power balance equation of the diesel-storage vehicle-mounted power system to estimate a system power balance condition; III, acquiring a uniform stability design basis of the system according to the stable constraint condition obtained in the step I and the powerbalance condition obtained in the step II.
