The torque loading mechanism comprises a worm gear box, a torque multiplier and a reference torque sensor, wherein the worm gear box, the torque multiplier and the reference torque sensor are driven by a hand wheel and are in successive drive connection. The reference torque sensor is connected with a torque display instrument cable. The device further comprises a support plate attachment which is used for detecting the installation of a detected device. The components of the torque loading mechanism are connected together as an integral component through a rigid cover cylinder, and are arranged on the vertical plate of the bracket through a frame with side plates. The frame can carryout 90-degree rotation positioning against the vertical plate. According to the invention, the device can be used for detecting and calibrating a torque wrench, can be used for detecting a torque sensor, and can detect and calibrate other torque calibration instruments; the device be used for self-inspection and calibration, which expands the detection field; and the device is multi-purpose.
