Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for searching session information. The method and the device are applied to a security device. The method comprises the steps of receiving a searching instruction, wherein the searching instruction carries a policy name of a security policy; searching a preset policy table based on the policy name and determining whether a corresponding policy table entryexists or not, wherein the policy table comprises a plurality of policy table entries, and the policy table entries comprise mapping relationships between the policy names and policy identities; searching a preset session table based on the policy identity in the policy table entry if the corresponding policy table entry exists, and determining whether a corresponding session table entry exists or not, wherein the session table comprises a plurality of session table entries, and the session table entries comprise the mapping relationships between session information and the policy identities;and outputting the session information on a management interface of the security device if the corresponding session table entry exists. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, afunction of rapidly searching all session information matching any security policy is realized.
