Abstract

The invention discloses a catalyst for preparing normal propyl alcohol through hydrogenolysis of glycerinum and a preparation and using method thereof. The prepared metal-heteropolyacid bifunctional catalyst is suitable for taking water as a solvent in a hydrogenolysis reaction to prepare propyl alcohol, using of volatile, polluted or toxic solvents is avoided, the catalyst is green and environmentally friendly, and meanwhile, the production cost is reduced; meanwhile, the catalyst adapts to the characteristic, that a large amount of moisture is contained, of the by-product glycerinum which isgenerated through a biodiesel device, and overcomes the defect that an existing catalyst is prone to losing activity in a water-containing environment.
