Provided are an image processing system and a control method. The image processing system has a tray, an angle detection unit, a two-end detection unit and an adjustment unit. The tray has a supporting component supporting a sheet in the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the sheet. The angle detection unit detects an offset angle of the sheet conveyed by the tray. The two-end detection unit detects positions of two ends of a front end edge at a downstream side of the sheet conveyed by the tray. The adjustment unit adjusts the position of supporting the sheet by the supportingcomponent according to the offset angle detected by the angle detection unit and the positions detected by the two-end detection unit.
