Abstract

The invention provides a remote one-to-one tutoring shared whiteboard system and method. The system comprises handwriting boards, a computer and shared whiteboard software. The method includes the steps of establishing a new shared whiteboard by a student or a teacher in the computer, correcting the position by the student and the teacher through the handwriting boards respectively so that the coordinates of the handwriting boards can be aligned with the coordinates of the shared whiteboard, writing questions by the teacher or the student through the handwriting boards, displaying the contentinput by the handwriting boards in the shared whiteboard, giving the answers of the questions by the student or the teacher through the handwriting boards, evaluating and modifying the answers, displaying the content input by the handwriting boards of both sides in the shared whiteboard, and storing the content of the whiteboard. The traffic time and cost of the tutoring teacher for going to a family for tutoring can be saved, the student can communicate with the tutoring teacher at any time, the remote one-to-one tutoring shared whiteboard system is combined with a video and voice chatting system, the face-to-face tutoring effect can be achieved, and the stored whiteboard content can be used for reviewing.
