Embodiment Construction

[0013] Various concepts and implementations thereof pertain to methods, apparatus, and systems for optimizing the processing of sequence-dependent operations in a voice-activated computer network environment are described in more detail below. The various concepts introduced above and discussed in more detail below can be implemented in any of several ways.

[0014] The disclosed systems and methods generally relate to a data processing system that optimizes or dynamically adjusts the order of processing sequence-dependent operations via data packet-based transmission in a voice-activated computer network environment. The data processing system is capable of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of data packet transmission over one or more computer networks, for example, by asynchronously, out-of-sequence, or dynamically selecting operations from among a plurality of sequence-dependent operations. Data packet or other protocol based signals corresponding to selected oper...

Abstract

The invention provides a optimization of sequence dependent operations in a voice activated data packet based computer network environment. A natural language processor component can parse an input audio signal to identify a request and a trigger keyword. A prediction component can determine a thread based on the trigger keyword and the request that includes a first action, a second action subsequent to the first action, and a third action subsequent to the second action. A content selector component can select, based on the third action and the trigger keyword, a content item. An audio signalgenerator component can generate an output signal comprising the content item. An interface can transmit the output signal to cause a client computing device to drive a speaker to generate an acoustic wave corresponding to the output signal prior to occurrence of at least one of the first action and the second action.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims the benefit of and priority to U.S. Patent Application No. 15 / 395,682, filed December 30, 2016 and entitled "SEQUENCE DEPENDENT OPERATION PROCESSING OF PACKET BASED DATA MESSAGE TRANSMISSIONS," the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference for all purposes This article. Background technique [0003] Packet-based or other excessive network transmission of network traffic data between computing devices prevents computing devices from properly processing network traffic data, completing operations related to network traffic data, or responding to network traffic data in a timely manner. Excessive network transfer of network traffic data can also complicate data routing or degrade response quality if the responding computing device is at or beyond its processing capacity, which can lead to inefficient bandwidth utilization. Control of network transfers corresponding to content item objec...
