Abstract

The invention discloses tooth whitening gel as well as a preparation method and use method thereof. The gel contains the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.7-0.9 part of carbomer, 18-22 parts of hydrogen peroxide, 0.04-0.06 part of EDTA-2Na, 0.6-0.8 part of triethanolamine, 0.15-0.25 part of potassium nitrate and 12-18 parts of a PBS buffer solution. The preparation method comprises thefollowing steps: fetching carbomer and water, and stirring; and adding hydrogen peroxide, EDTA-2Na, triethanolamine, potassium nitrate and the PBS buffer solution. Peroxy-radical ions in tooth whitening gel are stimulated by virtue of a blue light stimulating instrument so as to release hydrogen peroxide molecules, the hydrogen peroxide molecules generate oxidation-reduction reaction on the surfaces of teeth, and then pigments attached to the teeth are removed, so that the aim of safe and efficient tooth whitening is achieved.
