Abstract

A visual status indicator for electrical equipment is disclosed. The status indicator can be installed in the lower cover of the electrical equipment, so that each display surface of the indicator can be seen through one or more observation windows of the lower cover. The status indicator may include a mounting base having a protrusion and at least one wing, wherein the wing includes at least one display surface. At least one swing arm may be connected to the mounting base by a protrusion, and at least one swing arm may include at least one display surface. The swing arm can be actuated such that a display surface on the wing or a display surface on the swing arm can be seen through the viewing window to indicate the status of the electrical equipment.
