Abstract

The invention discloses a wall mounted washing machine which reduces operating noise and prevents impacts caused by physical contact in advance and a cover thereof. The washing machine includes a cabinet having a front surface and a rear surface to be opened to form an appearance; a tub disposed in the cabinet, the tub operable to contain wash water; a front panel installed in the tub; a drum rotatably installed in the tub; a cover installed in the front panel and provided with a door hinge; and a door rotatably coupled to the door hinge and having a door inner frame and a door outer frame coupled to each other. The cover includes a unit mounting portion integrally installed on an intermediate outer surface of the cover, with reference to the installation position of the door hanging unitinstalled on the door, in order to prevent interference between an intermediate outer surface of the door inner frame and the intermediate outer surface of the cover which face each other.
