The intumescent flame retardant hasa good flame-retarding effect and less additive amount, the impact on the physical and mechanical properties of plastics can be reduced to the greatest extent, and the advantages of non-halogen, low-smoke, low-toxicity, anti-melting dropping and non-corrosive gas are achieved; and a dense porous foam carbon layer is formed on the surface of material during combustion, the further degradation of inner layer high polymers and the release of combustible material to the surface can be prevented, and the transfer of a heat source to the high polymers can be prevented and an oxygen source is isolated, so that the spread and propagation of flames are prevented.
