Embodiment Construction

[0042] Vehicle-based communication networks can provide significant improvements in driver assistance systems. Such vehicle-based communication networks may be referred to as vehicle-to-everything (V2X) networks, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) networks, cellular V2V (C-V2V) networks, and the like. A vehicle-based communication network may include user equipment (UE), also referred to as vehicle UE (v-UE), communicating directly with infrastructure equipment (vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I)) to signal: For example, traffic signal timing and priority, etc. For example, the UE may communicate real-time traffic conditions and routes directly with the network (eg, vehicle-to-network (V2N)), cloud services, and the like. UEs can also communicate safety alerts to pedestrians, cyclists, etc. with pedestrian UEs (Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P)). UEs may also communicate with other v-UEs for collision avoidance security systems and the like.

Abstract

Methods, systems and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine to use multi-cluster communication in a vehicle-based communication network. The UE can identify configuration parameters associated with multi-cluster communications. The UE may select a cluster resource from a set of available cluster resources based on configuration parameters. Cluster resources may include one or more clusters for multi-cluster transmissions in a vehicle-based communication network. The UE may send an indication of the selected cluster resources to a wireless node of the vehicle-based communication network (eg, to another UE). The UE may send a multi-cluster transmission on the selected cluster resources.

Description

[0001] cross reference [0002] This patent application claims the benefit of U.S. Patent Application No. 15 / 646,861, filed July 11, 2017, by Nguyen et al., entitled "Enabling Multi-Cluster Transmissions," and Nguyen et al., filed July 19, 2016, titled Priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62 / 364,042 for "Enabling Multi-Cluster Transmissions," each of which has been assigned to the assignee of the present application. technical field [0003] In general, the following description relates to wireless communication, and in particular, the following description relates to multi-cluster transmission. Background technique [0004] Wireless communication systems are widely deployed to provide various types of communication content such as voice, video, packet data, messaging, broadcast, and so on. These systems can support communication with multiple users by sharing available system resources (eg, time, frequency, and power). Examples of such multiple-access syste...
