Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent book borrowing and returning machine. The intelligent book borrowing and returning machine comprises an enclosure; the front end of the enclosure is provided with a first opening used for fetching and putting a book by a user; the rear end of the enclosure is provided with a second opening used for being in butt joint with a book conveyor; the interior of theenclosure is provided with a book conveying component moving along the horizontal direction of the enclosure between the first opening and the second opening; a book transferring component used for transferring a book between the book conveying component and the book conveyor is arranged over the book conveying component near one end of the second opening; the intelligent book borrowing and returning machine further comprises a control system used for controlling the book conveying component and the book transferring component to act; when a reader borrows a book, the book conveyor takes outthe book from a library; the book conveyor is in butt joint with the second opening; the book conveying component moves to the second opening; the book transferring component transfers the book on thebook conveyor to the book conveying component; the book conveying component moves to the first opening; the reader fetches the book; and thus, the book borrowing process is completed. By means of theintelligent book borrowing and returning machine disclosed by the invention, the manner of manually borrowing and returning a book in the past is changed; and thus, the reader can borrow and return abook by itself.
