An oven apparatus includes: a housing which includes a closed internal space separated into upper and lower spaces by partition plates; a vertical shaft penetrating the partition plates in a verticaldirection; a cooking support which is connected to an upper end of the vertical shaft to rotate in the upper space; a driving means which is connected to the other end of the lower part of the vertical shaft to be installed in the lower space while transmitting a rotary force to the cooking support; a heating source which is installed on a side surface of the upper space and transmits the heat tothe cooking support; a temperature sensor which is installed in the upper space to measure the temperature of the cooking support; and a braking pedal which operates in accordance with the foot motionof a worker and is connected to the driving means in order to stop the rotation of the cooking support. The braking pedal stops the rotation of the cooking support when the worker presses the same with feet and enables the cooking support to rotate again when the worker releases the feet.
