Abstract

The anti-windage-yaw cross arm includes a post insulator having one end connected to the body of aniron tower; and a cable-stayed insulator having one end connected to the iron cross arm of the iron tower, and the other end connected to the other end of the post insulator away from the iron towerin order that a stable support structure with an angle is formed between the cable-stayed insulator and the post insulator; wherein the post insulator and the cable-stayed insulator are located between a wire and the iron tower to stop the wire from getting close to the iron tower. The stable support structure with an angle is formed between the cable-stayed insulator and the post insulator, so asto suppress a windage yaw flashover accident caused by the fact that the wire sways in the wind and thus gets close to the iron tower, and ensure a safe electrical gap between the wire and the iron tower under high wind conditions. The post insulator and the cable-stayed insulator are not directly connected to the wire, but are disposed between the iron tower and the wire, so that when the powergrid is charged, the anti-windage-yaw cross arm can be directly installed or modified on the iron tower without power outage.
