The invention provides a method and device for storing offline task workflow by using XML, and the method comprises the steps: determining a converted file format of an offline task workflow chart tobe converted, wherein the file format is the format of an XML file, and the XML file at least comprises a task name, an ID, a task type and a scheduling configuration; compiling a conversion algorithmfor converting to-be-converted offline task workflow chart by using Javascript; receiving an execution operation instruction; obtaining a to-be-converted offline task workflow chart, the to-be-converted offline task workflow chart at least comprising an offline task workflow chart drawn by the SVG; converting the to-be-converted offline task workflow chart into an offline task workflow chart XMLfile according to a conversion algorithm; and triggering the web interface to execute a preset operation according to the execution operation instruction, the preset operation at least comprising an operation of downloading the off-line task workflow chart XML file.
