The method for fabricating the array substrate comprises the steps of: providing a substrate; forming a conductiveconnection structure in a non-display area on a side of the substrate, wherein the conductive connection structure comprises a first connection structure and a second connection structure which are stacked; and forming a protective structure at least covering the sidewall of the conductive connection structure. The first connection structure of the conductive connection structure is sealed withinthe second connection structure and the protective structure. Therefore, in the subsequent etching process, the first connection structure of the conductive connection structure can be prevented frombeing etched away by the etching liquid in other layers, so that the second connection structure does not have a suspended portion. Therefore, in the subsequent high-pressure spraying process, the conductive connection structure cannot be thrust into the display area, thereby improving the display anomaly of the display area.
