Abstract

The present invention provides a scroll compressor capable of suppressing the flow of a fluid in an internal space of a casing from being hindered. A scroll compressor includes a casing and a compression mechanism housed in the casing. The housing has a first housing member and a second housing member, and the first housing member has an annular partition wall. The partition wall has a fastening portion whose wall thickness is thicker than other portions in the circumferential direction of the partition wall. The compression mechanism has a fixed scroll member and an orbiting scroll member. The fixed scroll member has a fixed scroll wall extending in a spiral shape and an outer peripheral wall surrounding the fixed scroll wall. A portion of the outer peripheral wall facing the fastening portion in the radial direction includes a recess forming portion having a recess recessed radially inward.
