Embodiment Construction
[0021] The invention is applicable to any type of motor vehicle in which the powertrain includes an automatic clutch and a traction heat engine that may stall. figure 2 A powertrain is shown comprising a traction chain in which a heat engine 21 is drivingly connected to wheels 24 via an automatic coupling 22 . The coupling device 22 may selectively couple the heat engine 21 to the wheels 24 according to a transmittable torque setting. A gearbox 23 drivingly connects the coupling 22 to the wheels 24, allowing the introduction of a reduction ratio. The automatic coupling device 22 is a clutch which is torque-controlled by the control device according to the transmittable torque setpoint between the heat engine 21 and the gearbox 23 . The transmittable torque setpoint is given by the control function taking into account the driver's wishes and the powertrain coordination strategy, in particular the energy and vehicle situation strategy.
