Abstract

The invention provides a positioning method for a mobile terminal using a pseudo MAC (Media Access Control) strategy. The positioning method comprises the following steps: acquiring a real MAC addressof a target terminal, a hot spot connected in history and a corresponding MAC address; obtaining pseudo MAC address features in pseudo MAC addresses generated by the pseudo MAC strategy mobile terminal; and continuously detecting and analyzing a WiFi data packet, and continuously executing the following operations: (1) adding the terminals which are connected to the WiFi hotspot and accord with the pseudo MAC address characteristics into a candidate set; and comparing the real MAC address of the target terminal with the equivalent value set of the real MAC address according to the data analyzed from the WiFi data packet acquired in real time to judge whether the target terminal appears or not, and if so, indicating that the target is positioned. For the condition that android 10 and an intelligent terminal similar to a pseudo MAC mechanism and the like cannot obtain the real MAC address, the method can determine whether the target is nearby or not.
