The embodiment of the invention provides a method and device for determining similarity between objects, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining statistical data of a current object, and enabling the statistical data of the current object to comprise a plurality of primary features related to the behaviors of a target object and the occurrence frequency of each primary feature in the plurality of primary features; calculating a feature value corresponding to each primary feature by utilizing the occurrence frequency of each primary feature; adding the eigenvalues corresponding to all theprimary features in the plurality of primary features to obtain a total eigenvalue corresponding to the current object; calculating a similarity index of the current object and the target object by utilizing the feature number of the plurality of primary features and the total feature value corresponding to the current object; and determining the similarity between the current object and the target object according to the similarity index. By means of the technical scheme, the time consumed for determining the similarity between the current object and the target object can be shortened, and then the similarity determining efficiency can be improved.
