Abstract

Experiments verifies that cardiac glycoside compound feruloside can attenuate joint synovial inflammation and M1 macrophage polarization in the synovium, thereby delaying OA disease process and cartilage damage in a mouse OA model mice induced by collagenase injection. The invention provides a phenomenon and a molecular mechanism of FGS for treating OA and OA synovitis, and provides a new idea for clinical treatment of OA and OA synovitis.
