Problems solved by technology

However, since many technologies or database systems based on the graph model are generally applicable to expressing and managing real-world entities and the relationship between entities, it is not designed for the characteristics of spatio-temporal data, so it is applied to Poor performance when managing spatio-temporal data
For example, problems such as low query efficiency, inaccurate data analysis results, and large storage disk space are common.

Embodiment Construction

[0067] The technical solution in this application will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0068] For ease of understanding, a brief introduction to related concepts involved in this application is firstly made.

[0069] Event: A piece of data (or record) generated by software or hardware during operation. Here, the software may be, for example, a computer program, and the hardware may be, for example, a computer, a sensor, or the like.

[0070] Spatio-temporal data: Data that contains temporal and spatial information. A piece of spatio-temporal data represents an event, wherein the time information represents the time when the event occurs, and the spatial information represents the space related to the event. Here, the space may be a geographic location space (for example, latitude and longitude coordinates), or a conceptual space, such as commodity space, user space, and the like.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for managing spatio-temporal data. The method can be applied to a distributed system comprising a coordination node and a plurality of working nodes. The method comprises: expressing spatio-temporal data through a binary spatio-temporal diagram model G=(VL, VO, E) to directly reflect the incidence relation of the data in time and space, the VL being a set of position vertexes containing position information, the VO being a set of object vertexes not containing position information, and the E being a set of spatio-temporal edges connecting related vertexes. For spatio-temporal data expressed by adopting a binary spatio-temporal graph model, differentiated division and storage schemes are adopted for object vertexes, position vertexes and edges by utilizing the characteristics of spatio-temporal query: the object vertexes are subjected to hash division and stored into a distributed database; all position vertexes are sent to each working node and stored ina memory of the working node; and the space-time edges are divided by adopting two dimensions of object-time and space-time, and a column compression storage scheme is adopted for the divided space-time edge data.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the field of information technology, in particular to a method and device for managing spatio-temporal data. Background technique [0002] With the development of the Internet of Things, various service networking and information construction, a large amount of data including time information and spatial information (hereinafter referred to as spatio-temporal data) is generated. For example, in the safe city application scenario, people use ID cards, credit cards, check in hotels, take high-speed rail, check in for planes, etc. All these behaviors will generate spatio-temporal data. For another example, in the scene of car license plate detection, traffic cameras record car license plates, automatic license plate recognition and other behaviors will also generate a large amount of spatio-temporal data. For another example, in the scenario of logistics tracking, the recording operation of parcels by express logistics ...
